Communication and Interaction Specialist (SALT)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain specialist knowledge and advise on best practice for students with Communication & Interaction needs
• Lead and co-ordinate service delivery for a defined caseload/area
• Conduct specialist assessment, differential diagnosis, and clinical decision-making
• Provide appropriate levels of intervention for children with speech language and communication needs
• Daily organization of sessions and caseload
• Liaise with and provide highly specialist advice to professionals across Health, Education and Social Care
• Work in partnership with parents and carers of children on specialist caseload

Requirements

Education

Recognised Speech and Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
