Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Project Commissioning Team
- Ensure Offshore Wind Farm project is commissioned according to normative and specifications
- Plan commissioning tests and create detailed programme of works
- Manage and coordinate Project Commissioning Team and contractor resources
- Prepare and review tender documents
- Ensure test values results comply with normative
- Act as main point of contact for commissioning
- Plan and chair site meetings
- Complete site quality, safety and environmental inspections
- Resolve technical, economic, and other disputes
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Engineering
Required Skills
- Experience in commissioning, construction or design of substations, transmission lines, or power plants
- Experience in renewables business
- Experience managing teams
- Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation
- Knowledge of specification, design, maintenance, construction and commissioning of plant apparatus, control & protection equipment on transmission network
- Ability to lead and work in a team environment
- Knowledge of main safety regulations for commissioning works
- Grid code and OFTO experience
- Transmissions and distribution experience up to 400kV
Required Certifications
- Safety certificates for performing and managing commissioning activities in energized areas
