Hospital Pharmacy Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, deliver, develop, manage and evaluate operational, clinical and strategic aspects of pharmaceutical services
• Provide expert strategic pharmaceutical advice on safe, clinical and cost effective delivery of services
• Lead a team of pharmacy staff to provide high quality pharmaceutical service
• Participate in site senior manager on-call rota

Requirements

Education

Masters of Pharmacy Degree

Required Skills

• Advanced level of clinical knowledge, reasoning and judgement
• Understanding of relevant regulations relating to medicines and pharmacy practice
• Governance within the NHS
• Collaboration and teamwork
• Influencing and negotiation skills
• Change management

Required Certifications

• Member General Pharmaceutical Council
• Post Graduate degree in Clinical Pharmacy or Management
