Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on AI accountability
  • Collaborate across academia, civil society, and policy
  • Study corporate capture, wealth accumulation, and extractive practices of the AI industry
  • Reveal, demystify, and map AI research to real world application and societal impact
  • Develop holistic approaches to algorithmic/dataset audit and model evaluation
  • Develop conceptual and theoretical approaches to audits
  • Evaluate large AI systems for understanding, interpretation, and explanation of model behavior
  • Challenge and dismantle systemic injustice and harm encoded in AI systems

Requirements

Education

First or second-class degree or Masters degree in relevant discipline
