Key Responsibilities
- Scientific work on project B6, "Batteries made from sustainable materials"
- Planning and Conducting Electrochemical Experiments for Advanced Electrodes in Post-Li/Na Batteries
- Conduct innovative research in electrode synthesis, structural optimization, and high-tech characterization techniques
- Mechanistic studies of battery degradation and performance enhancement
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and industry partners
- Preparation of scientific publications and patents
Requirements
Education
Completed scientific university degree (Master's, Diploma, or equivalent) in natural sciences, engineering, electrochemistry, materials science, physics, chemistry, or a related field
Required Skills
- Experience with experimental techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, or battery testing
- Scientific curiosity for elucidating the bottlenecks of state-of-the-art next generations battery materials and designs
- Ability for scientifically rigorous, target-oriented, organized, and independent work
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Inventiveness and a proactive hands-on approach
- Good English language skills
