Research Analyst/Project Officer – Financial Crime Policy Programme

Key Responsibilities

• Support delivery of Programme's work on global and UK response to financial crime
• Deliver specific short-term research projects
• Convene events and engage with stakeholders in UK economic crime community
• Focus on AML regulation and supervision, including DNFBPs
• Study application of risk-based approach to managing financial crime risk
• Analyze UK's preparation for next FATF evaluation in 2027
• Research UK/global responses to fraud
• Identify research opportunities and potential funding opportunities
• Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Contribute to planning and running events for the FCP Programme

Requirements

Education

Graduate degree in a relevant field

Required Skills

• Understanding of public and private sector perspectives on financial crime policy
• Knowledge of UK economic crime policy landscape
• Familiarity with work of international bodies like FATF
• Strong qualitative or quantitative research skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience in convening events
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong literacy skills
