Research Analyst/Project Officer – Financial Crime Policy Programme

Key Responsibilities
- Support delivery of Programme's work on global and UK response to financial crime
- Deliver specific short-term research projects
- Convene events and engage with stakeholders in UK economic crime community
- Focus on AML regulation and supervision, including DNFBPs
- Study application of risk-based approach to managing financial crime risk
- Analyze UK's preparation for next FATF evaluation in 2027
- Research UK/global responses to fraud
- Identify research opportunities and potential funding opportunities
- Build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to planning and running events for the FCP Programme
Requirements
Education
Graduate degree in a relevant field
Required Skills
- Understanding of public and private sector perspectives on financial crime policy
- Knowledge of UK economic crime policy landscape
- Familiarity with work of international bodies like FATF
- Strong qualitative or quantitative research skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in convening events
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Strong literacy skills
