Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to Post Market and Manufacturing Engineering teams
  • Manage engineering costs and departmental expenditure
  • Work with Research and Development for efficient product transfer
  • Support Regulatory Affairs and Quality departments with technical expertise
  • Review and approve benefit-risk information in Clinical Evaluation Protocols and Reports
  • Drive continuous improvement goals
  • Foster relations with global Post Market and Manufacturing Engineering leadership
  • Communicate project updates and resolve issues
  • Set priorities for Post Market and Manufacturing Engineering activities
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and FDA CFR 820 requirements
  • Manage sterilisation programme
  • Support current manufacturing to optimize quality and efficiency
  • Perform people management responsibilities for direct reports
  • Maintain open communication channels across teams
  • Contribute to local management team
  • Ensure Cook's Code of Conduct is followed in all business matters

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (Advanced Engineering degree preferred)

Experience

Minimum of 12 years relevant experience, including 7 years management experience
