EIA Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Lead on delivery of EIA/SEA projects
- Oversee, guide and manage junior team members and sub-consultants
- Take ownership of projects from inception to completion
- Prioritise projects while balancing client expectations, resources and deadlines
- Work on multi-disciplinary projects across various sectors
- Liaise with clients and other relevant stakeholders
Requirements
Education
Degree in science or engineering with an environmental component
Experience
Substantial experience in consultancy / regulatory role in environmental assessment
Required Skills
- Knowledge of Irish and European planning and environmental legislation
- Familiarity with EIA Directive and transposing Regulations
- Knowledge of Habitats Directive and Appropriate Assessment process
- Knowledge of Strategic Environmental Assessment
- Experience in coordinating planning applications
- Excellent organisational and coordinating skills
- Excellent verbal communication and report writing skills
- Commercial awareness
- Ability to define scopes of work
- Project management
- Interpersonal skills
- Team-oriented approach
Required Certifications
- Membership of the Institution of Environmental Sciences (desirable)
