Key Responsibilities
- Guarantee strategic vision for Action line 1.1 of Component 1
- Support implementation of Action 1.1 of Component 1
- Mobilize relevant expertise
- Stay up-to-date with bi-regional agendas
- Facilitate dialogue with regional stakeholders
- Promote cross-sectoral synergy
- Encourage multi-actor integration
- Ensure submission of high-quality technical reports
- Participate in coordination of other SPOs
- Represent project at relevant forums
- Build and maintain strategic relationships
- Validate action requests
- Provide continuous support to technical teams
- Facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in gender inequality and other inequalities, social sciences, international development, or related field
Experience
At least 15 years of work experience in national, regional or large scale co-operation programmes in Latin America and the Caribbean; At least 10 years of work experience in management of EU-funded projects on Gender and other Inequalities, public policies and/or social inclusion in LAC region
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of bi-regional agendas
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to provide strategic and technical guidance
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Fluency in English, French and Spanish
- Knowledge of Portuguese (asset)
