Mental Health Therapist Provincial – Children

Key Responsibilities
- Provide screening, consultation, assessment and treatment
- Teaching and liaison with families
- Coordinate with community service providers and school personnel
- Provide crisis intervention and case management
- Work collaboratively with Addiction and Mental Health staff
- Deliver services in multiple settings
- Provide support to child and adolescent clients
- Address emotional, behavioral and mental health concerns
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work (clinical), Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or Psychiatric Nursing
Experience
2 years minimum in Child and Adolescent Mental Health

- Mental health assessment

- CBT and Solution-Focused Therapy
- Case management
- Multidisciplinary team collaboration
Required Certifications
- Registration with CRNA, CRPNA, ACOT, CAP, or ACSW required
