Auditory-Verbal Therapist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide auditory-verbal therapy services to pre-school and school age children
• Plan and execute auditory-verbal therapy programs
• Collaborate with audiologists and other professionals
• Manage record keeping and documentation
• Provide consultation to nursery/daycare programs and schools
• Write reports and correspondence

Requirements

Education

Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology or Special Education

Experience

2 years minimum with preschool population

• Computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• Teamwork abilities
• Bilingual (English/French)

Required Certifications

• Police Record Check
• CASLPO Registration
• COVID-19 Vaccination
• Certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist (preferred)
