Online CIS Program Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support faculty members
• Manage faculty recruitment, hiring and mentoring
• Conduct faculty observations and provide feedback
• Develop and oversee curriculum
• Teach online classes
• Coordinate program projects and enhancements
• Oversee student academic progression
• Participate in student retention efforts
• Manage social media and community outreach
• Organize faculty meetings and development sessions
• Collaborate with Admissions and Student Services
• Participate in academic advisement

Requirements

Education

Master's degree in computer information science or related field with 18 graduate semester hours

Experience

5 years progressive management experience, 3-5 years industry experience, 2 years online teaching, 2 years online curriculum development

• LMS experience (Canvas preferred)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
