Key Responsibilities
- Train, supervise and evaluate subordinate supervisors
- Develop policies and procedures
- Allocate staff and resources
- Oversee educator preparation, scholarships, evaluation, and licensure programs
- Conduct performance evaluations
- Collect, analyze, and report education program data
- Contribute to state regulations development
- Represent department in legislative hearings
- Facilitate collaboration with boards, councils, and commissions
- Support advisory groups
Requirements
Education
Doctorate degree or Master's degree in business, economics, education, English, math, psychology, science, sociology, or related field
Experience
2 years with Doctorate or 3 years with Master's degree of professional experience
