Application Specialist / Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent application support and troubleshooting to customers in molecular diagnostic laboratories
• Conduct product demonstration, presentations and technical training to customers
• Work closely with sales team to meet or exceed sales target, expand existing businesses, identify and develop new business opportunities
• Work with suppliers to promote IVD products through workshops, seminars and exhibitions
• Conduct market intelligence research to understand customer application needs, market trends and competitions
• Provide technical training to the sales team to increase knowledge and effectiveness
• Build and maintain good rapport with existing and new customers

Requirements

Education

Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences or related studies

Experience

At least 2 years of application support experience in biomedical science industries

Required Skills

• Knowledge and experience in real-time PCR
• Knowledge of molecular diagnostic market
• Ability to work independently
• Good teamwork skills
• Proficiency in written and oral communication (English)
• Self-motivated
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Ability to travel occasionally for business needs
