Assistant Director, College Writing

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise student tutors in the CSWIM
- Collaborate with the Director to recruit, hire, train, and supervise Writing and Speaking and Image Partners
- Design and implement training program for new and returning Writing and Speaking and Image Partners
- Mentor Head Writing Partners
- Collaborate on development of training materials
- Collaborate with Director on grant writing and development efforts
- Oversee CSWIM schedule
- Provide instructional support to faculty around writing pedagogy
- Collaborate with and support student groups and cohorts on campus in their writing needs
- Work with the Director to write annual report for the CSWIM
- Collaborate on creating and revising CSWIM policy
- Develop and implement program-related research projects
- Design and teach an ID1 Critical Inquiry Seminar or ENG87 annually
- Oversee the online scheduler
- Work with Program staff to design and analyze student evaluations, surveys, and assessment plans
- Create and oversee CSWIM promotional and outreach materials
- Coordinate special projects/tasks/duties as assigned
Requirements
Education
MA, MFA, or PhD in English, Rhetoric and Composition, TESOL, or another relevant discipline
Experience
College-level teaching experience required
