Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ESG reporting services (specifically GRESB and SFDR) for pan European clients
  • Undertake carbon accounting (scope 1, 2, and 3 greenhouse gas inventories) within the real estate sector
  • Improve client's ESG performance
  • Support achieving net-zero objectives and other key ESG performance indicators
  • Monitor and report progress and trends
  • Support continuous improvement
  • Be a key point of contact for client engagements
  • Maintain client satisfaction and growth for key clients
  • Collaborate with wider real estate business in EMEA and globally
  • Develop innovative solutions to accelerate progress toward clients' ESG goals
  • Manage delivery of client work products
  • Support team members assigned to projects
  • Build strong and trusted relationships with clients and/or business partners
  • Foster new business opportunities within existing clients
  • Support new business development campaigns, proposals and pitches

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in environmental science, engineering, climate change, sustainability or related field. Master's degree preferred.

Experience

6-8+ years of sustainability within real estate experience

Required Skills

  • Expertise in GRESB and SFDR reporting
  • Knowledge of GHG accounting standards
  • Understanding of ESG reporting frameworks (TCFD, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)
  • Understanding of EU regulatory compliance frameworks
  • Deep understanding of Germany regulatory context regarding ESG
  • Knowledge of investment planning for ESG improvement
  • Experience in decarbonization planning and physical climate risk
  • Ability to integrate ESG into real estate sector
  • Stakeholder management and communication
  • ESG data collection and analysis
  • Versatility and ability to multi-task
  • Positive attitude and flexible approach to problem solving
  • Client service experience
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in data analysis applications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in cross-border teams
  • German language proficiency
  • English language proficiency
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical audiences
