Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand up, sprint retrospectives, team-based release planning)
  • Ensure all artefacts are maintained and meet standards
  • Facilitate estimation of delivery effort to drive prioritisation planning
  • Remove team impediments
  • Continual refinement and improvements to scrum and change processes
  • Champion Agile/Scrum practices
  • Measure progress and monitor performance of squads
  • Effective backlog management
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business partners and Product Owners
  • Demonstrate project management experience
  • Assist in planning deliverables
  • Supervise team performance

Requirements

Education

Third level degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)

Experience

4+ years

  • Scrum Master experience
  • Technical solution delivery
  • Continuous software delivery
  • Management in complex business environment
  • Leading and influencing non-direct reports
  • Managing multiple 3rd party suppliers
  • Facilitating team learning
  • Understanding of IT Industry standard Agile methodology
  • Experience with Agile governance and operating models
  • Stakeholder management
