Key Responsibilities

  • Optimise all aspects of UCL's property (academic and student accommodation), asset management and space strategy across the multi-faceted portfolio
  • Take active responsibility for stakeholder management (staff and students), improving campus experience, customer-centricity and delivery of services
  • Pro-actively manage and demonstrate value from the property budget
  • Lead, develop, and coordinate a high performing professional team
  • Promote a customer focused, constructively challenging, responsive and adaptable service
  • Lead the development and implementation plan for the UCL Estates 2050 Vision
  • Develop and implement short and longer-term space management principles and policies
  • Work with Estates Performance and Programme management team to deliver and track relevant key performance indicators
  • Drive preparation, presentation and endorsement of high-quality business cases

Requirements

Education

Degree level plus post graduate management qualification

Experience

Director-level experience

  • Professional, technical and strategic advice at senior management level
