Director of Satellite Communications Delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Drive cohesion of activities across multiple delivery teams, functions and stakeholders
• Deliver transformation of military space communication services and Skynet
• Maintain service commitments
• Inspire existing and new generation of talent
• Support promotion of space communication capabilities
• Ensure integrity of service delivery while transforming for the future
• Accountable for technical output and performance across Space, Engineering, Service Delivery and Technical Infrastructure
• Lead technical and service delivery teams
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and cyber security of products, services and infrastructure
• Implement appropriate governance and processes
• Deliver on customer and end user service commitments
• Identify new solutions and technologies to improve capability offering

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering discipline (Business Master's degree preferred)

Experience

Senior level experience in technical delivery, service delivery, and business management

Required Skills

• Leadership of high-performing multi-disciplinary teams
• Designing and delivering solutions to complex customer requirements
• Planning, budgeting, and executing at a senior level
• Commercial acumen
• Strategic communications
• Space-based communications or telecommunications

Required Certifications

• Valid UK Driving License
• Security Check (SC) clearance (Developed Vetting (DV) may be required)
