Group Leader – Food Chemistry & Data Science

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, coach, and develop a team of scientists and data scientists
• Shape and execute the Science and Technology strategy
• Drive science-based innovation and renovation
• Identify emerging technologies and activate work on relevant ones
• Manage resources within the team and prioritize initiatives
• Collaborate with Nestlé Research centre in Lausanne and other R&D centres globally
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing
• Influence scientific research programs with external institutions

Requirements

Education

Master's or PhD in a relevant scientific field

Experience

Proven experience in Research and Development (R&D) and/or operational/factory settings

Required Skills

• Scientific knowledge in at least one scientific or technical area
• Up-to-date knowledge in related scientific fields
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Good understanding of business and technical interrelationships
• Proven networking skills
