Key Responsibilities

  • Provide front-line support to clients calling into the Care Centre
  • Assess client needs
  • Determine when to elevate clients to Masters Level Counsellors
  • Follow up with service requests
  • Contact clients about services and referrals
  • Perform administrative tasks
  • Data entry
  • Collaborate with FSEAP Care Centre Counsellors and other employees
  • Manage telephonic client and affiliate contact
  • Detailed data entry in a mental health service environment

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field

Experience

Minimum 2 years related experience

  • Client contact regarding mental health needs
  • Ability to assess referral appropriateness
  • Experience in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • Collaboration with team members
  • Quick learning of unique services and systems
  • Superior attention to detail
  • Document design and typing
  • Spreadsheet use
  • Mid to high level competency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication ability
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
