Material Planner

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze SAP purchase requisitions and convert to PO's on timely basis for Flavors and Vendor Directs
- Manage exceptions such as expedites and postponements or cancellations
- Be the data owner for these materials
- Daily interaction with Production Planners, quality, receiving, freight forwarder to provide updates on raw material availability
- Management of PO relating to vendor direct items and full process since PO creation until confirmation of shipment; and coordination of internal activities
- Responsible for providing feedback for New Product Introduction via e-ICE maintenance for common materials
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of Safety Stock and raw materials planning master data
- Meet key inventory and material planning metrics
- Identify and manage opportunities to optimize SAP functionality
- Maintain Materials Dashboard KPIs which include PO management, RM shortage, Order Acknowledgement, SOH vs Safety, Shelf life and RM availability
- Provide accurate and timely feedback in relation to Inventory in Risk (MIRA)
- Lead and implement projects for inventory optimization and process improvements
- Monitoring supplier quality and delivery performance and collaborate with procurement team to resolve supply issues
- Meet all internal and external compliance responsibilities including Purchasing Policy requirements, GCS, SOX & AIBI
- Adherence to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements
- Any other ad hoc duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Inventory or Materials Planning
Experience
At least 5 years of experience in a related Supply Chain or Operations role particularly in raw materials planning
Required Skills
- Strong operational experience in dynamic multinational organization
- Experience working with third parties and remote colleagues
- Ability to manage multiple and complex tasks
- Proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
- Knowledge of SAP MM module
- Strong Computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, excel
- Power BI knowledge
- Excellent analytical skill
- Problem solving and quick decision making
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to energize, develop and build rapport at all levels
- Capable of working effectively in cross functional and virtual environment
