Key Responsibilities

• Explore AI-bias generation through comparative analysis of human judgments and algorithmic reasoning
• Conduct in-depth interviews with human decision-makers and experts
• Analyze implications of algorithm design choices through simulations and data analysis
• Publish results in international peer-reviewed journals
• Disseminate findings in conferences, project meetings, and workshops
• Engage in Science Communication activities
• Organize participatory workshops and hackathons
• Write recommendation papers
• Prepare press releases
• Engage relevant stakeholders

Requirements

Education

PhD in sociology, (cognitive) psychology, or other social sciences

Required Skills

• Quantitative data analysis
• Statistical methods implementation
• Programming with R (and/or Python)
• Conducting interviews
• Publishing in international peer-reviewed journals
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Interdisciplinary research approach
• Machine Learning Methods (desirable)
