Key Responsibilities
- Explore AI-bias generation through comparative analysis of human judgments and algorithmic reasoning
- Conduct in-depth interviews with human decision-makers and experts
- Analyze implications of algorithm design choices through simulations and data analysis
- Publish results in international peer-reviewed journals
- Disseminate findings in conferences, project meetings, and workshops
- Engage in Science Communication activities

Requirements
Education
PhD in sociology, (cognitive) psychology, or other social sciences
Required Skills
- Quantitative data analysis
- Statistical methods implementation
- Programming with R (and/or Python)
- Conducting interviews
- Publishing in international peer-reviewed journals
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
- Interdisciplinary research approach
- Machine Learning Methods (desirable)
- Natural Language Processing Methods (desirable)
- Social Gerontology, Ageing studies (desirable)
