Key Responsibilities
- Support stress in-service repair activities
- Perform various stress analyses on repairs: Static strength Fatigue/Durability, damage Tolerance, and Finite element Model (FEM) on multi-platform aircraft programs (Challenger and Global)
- Prepare stress reports, static strength as well as damage tolerance analysis for compliance purposes
- Carry out stress calculations to assess design solutions and repair trade studies
- Review repair engineering drawings and participate actively in the development of in-Service solutions
- Provide clear visibility to management of the status and/or emerging issues to the supported repair activities
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in mechanical/aerospace engineering
Experience
8 years
