Key Responsibilities
- Produce empirical research
- Administer social science, public health, and public policy research
- Research, monitor, and analyze regulations and legislation
- Develop and manage project timelines, research materials, datasets, and analyses
- Develop research protocols and study materials
- Prepare and administer human subjects protection protocols
- Manage data collection and conduct data analyses
- Prepare written products including literature reviews, research reports, manuscripts, grant proposals, fact sheets, graphics, policy summaries, and presentations
- Participate in Institute meetings, seminars, and educational events
Requirements
Education
Master's Degree in related discipline (e.g., public policy, economics, statistics, psychology, public health, sociology, political science or a related discipline)
Required Skills
- Developing operational procedures for data collection and management
- Familiarity with Internet and scholarly search engines
- Conducting literature reviews
- Interview-based or text-based qualitative research
- Superior research skills
- Statistical and analytical skills
- Data resource management
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., Stata, SAS, SPSS)
- Proficiency in qualitative data software (e.g., ATLAS.ti, NVivo)
