Key Responsibilities

• Develop mathematical models for seroprevalence data analysis
• Develop code and Bayesian inferential frameworks for model calibration
• Ensure data accuracy and completeness
• Interpret results and communicate effectively
• Lead high-impact manuscripts through peer-review
• Represent xSTAR at meetings and committees
• Promote the reputation of xSTAR, the research group, MRC-GIDA, School of Public Health, and Imperial College

Requirements

Education

Masters degree in scientific area related to infectious diseases or similar subject

Experience

3 years

Required Skills

• Strong background in advanced analytics
• Mathematical and statistical modeling
• Bayesian methods for parameter inference
• R programming
• Management and analysis of epidemiological data
• Machine learning/AI (desired)
• Working as part of international teams (desired)
