Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system (QMS)
• Oversee documentation and control of quality records, procedures, and work instructions
• Conduct regular internal audits
• Lead inspections, tests, and verifications of products and processes
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and root causes of defects
• Implement corrective and preventive actions
• Actively participate in assembly, calibration, and testing of nanoparticle synthesis equipment
• Conduct detailed inspections and functional tests
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Implement 5S for continuous improvement
• Evaluate and qualify suppliers
• Monitor supplier performance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Lead or participate in lean manufacturing or Six Sigma initiatives

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or related field (Advanced degree preferred)

Experience

2+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in equipment for nanomaterial synthesis

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of quality management principles, tools, and techniques
• Experience with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in using quality management software and tools
• Hands-on experience with assembly, calibration, and testing procedures for nanoparticle synthesis equipment
• Ability to work in a highly agile start-up environment
