Key Responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of the Contract
- Drive relationships, performance and morale within team
- Provide end-to-end oversight of all aspects of delivery
- Identify and manage risks
- Develop key stakeholder relationships
- Establish robust and agile governance across delivery team
- Lead and maintain safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability and project compliance standards
- Lead coordination of the Contract
- Manage Contract budget and resources
- Determine and track delivery milestones and key performance indicators
- Coordinate support from project directorate functions
- Comply with governance process
- Escalate risks/issues to project director
- Work within project governance structures
- Keep contract aligned with project priorities and strategies
- Implement continuous improvement techniques
- Discharge delegated authority for low & medium risk projects
- Deliver programme outcomes within control baseline
- Manage teams of project controls, design, and support consultants
- Challenge forecasts and information from Contractor/Project Delivery Partner
- Lead safety culture and promote health and safety
- Manage stakeholder communications
Requirements
Education
Minimum Level 8 degree (or equivalent) in engineering, construction, project management
Experience
15+ years in programme/project delivery, with 7+ years senior management experience
