Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and Conducting Electrochemical Experiments for Advanced Electrodes in Post-Li/Na Batteries
  • Conduct innovative research in electrode synthesis, structural optimization, and high-tech characterization techniques
  • Mechanistic studies of battery degradation and performance enhancement
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of researchers and industry partners
  • Preparation of scientific publications and patents

Requirements

Education

Completed scientific university degree (Master's, Diploma, or equivalent) in natural sciences, engineering, electrochemistry, materials science, physics, chemistry, or a related field

Required Skills

  • Experience with experimental techniques such as SEM, TEM, XRD, or battery testing
  • Scientific curiosity for elucidating the bottlenecks of state-of-the-art next generations battery materials and designs
  • Ability for scientifically rigorous, target-oriented, organized, and independent work
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Inventiveness and a proactive hands-on approach
  • Good English language skills
