Key Responsibilities
- Respond to all enquiries professionally and personally
- Offer suitable room types and curate experiences based on guest preferences
- Answer internal/external calls as per Brand standard and FORBES
- Know and describe booking terms and policies for various packages
- Process reservations requests with quality and update relevant departments
- Handle modification or cancellation enquiries
- Build and maintain relationships with partners and regular bookers
- Perform quality checks on arrivals and reservations
- Upsell higher room types
- Review no-shows and late cancellations
- Handle incoming emails promptly
- Provide accurate information about promotions and offerings
- Record keeping of reservations correspondence
- Follow-up on prepayments
- Resolve guest issues and escalate when necessary
- Collaborate with commercial team and participate in business meetings
- Handle group reservations (if applicable)
- Understand and process package elements and distributions
- Collaborate with other departments
- Communicate with Reservations Manager about challenges and initiatives
Requirements
Education
Tertiary qualifications or collegiate-level degree preferred
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service
- Highly professional telephone manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding administration and organizational skills
- Intermediate computer proficiency
