Key Responsibilities
- Monitor [email protected] and respond to public and internal inquiries related to the distribution of digital images and other digital assets
- Work with internal staff to educate on image use, including coordinating projects and attending meetings
- Assist with the interpretation of whether the legal doctrine of fair use applies to allow the museum to use copyright-protected works
- Assist with coordination and support for digital asset management and quality control
- Serve as a contracting officer's representative (COR) or vendor technical point of contact (TPoC)
Requirements
Education
Master's degree or equivalent
Required Skills
- Knowledge of rights and reproductions functions
- Knowledge of copyright related to digital assets
- Knowledge of digital asset management functions
- General knowledge of digital photography and archiving operations
- Oral communication skills
- Written communication skills
