Key Responsibilities
- Drive all aspects of purification process development, characterization, and technology transfer to cGMP manufacturing for hybrid and continuous processes
- Serve as an internal technical resource for cGMP manufacturing and Process Design
- Communicate scientific information, experimental plans, and data to internal project teams, senior management, and technology development collaborators
- Design, execute, and analyze statistically designed experiments (DOE)
- Author work instructions, reports, and slides summarizing, organizing, and interpreting experiment results
- Drive technology development for process intensification and continuous manufacturing
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in engineering, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field, or PhD
Experience
7+ years with Master's degree or 3+ years with PhD in Biosimilars for mammalian derived purification process

- Preparative chromatography
- AKTA systems operation
- Filtration operations
- Bench-scale dead-end filtration
- Viral filtration
- UF/DF
- Downstream process development for mammalian cell line based protein
- Buffer compounding
- Scale-up strategy

- Strong written and verbal communication in English
