Senior Compliance Officer & MLRO

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) for Mourant Ozannes and MourantGS Services in Luxembourg
• Foster culture of compliance and operational excellence in client on-boarding and AML processes
• Be a member of the global Risk and Compliance team
• Manage and submit suspicious transaction reports to local FIU
• Lead law firm and governance services client on-boarding
• Review AML policies against Luxembourg requirements
• Assist in client system implementation
• Deliver advisory support and training on AML and regulatory risks
• Build high performing team for future business growth
• Oversee regulatory risks and support compliance reporting
• Analyze new legal and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with global teams on policies and procedures

Requirements

Education

Bachelor or Master degree in law (preferred) or equivalent in economics, business or finance

Experience

Demonstrable experience in Compliance, Risk or operational control function

Required Skills

• Knowledge of corporate and fund professional services industry in Luxembourg
• Comprehensive knowledge of anti-financial crime regulations in Luxembourg
• Strong organizational, analytical, and time prioritization skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French
• Effective communication skills
• Pragmatic risk management
• Continuous improvement mindset
• Proactive team player
• Good IT skills in Microsoft suite
• Ability to learn multiple client administration systems and reporting tools
