Senior System Engineering Expert (w/m/d)

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and translate into technical system requirements based on existing products
• Develop concepts for products to meet system requirements within given cost and time frames
• Ongoing assessment and derivation of measures to reduce technical risks in system development
• Systematic analysis of the design and proof of fulfillment of system requirements under all boundary conditions
• Modularization of the system architecture into subsystems with defined functions and interfaces and derived requirements
• Define work packages and requirements for subsystem development
• Ensure overall system function through technical monitoring of subsystem development and interfaces
• Planning, execution and documentation of system integration, verification and validation
• Diagnosis and resolution of technical problems during commissioning of system prototypes internally and at customers
• Technical leadership of responsible experts in projects

Requirements

Education

Master's/Diploma degree in Engineering or Natural Sciences or comparable qualification

Required Skills

• Fluent German and English skills (written and spoken)
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Knowledge of Requirements Engineering software (DOORS, Polarion, or similar)
• Multidisciplinary understanding in areas such as mechanics, optics, electronics, software/data processing, validation, and system architecture of complex technical systems
