Site Commissioning Manager – Quebec City

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of new data center capacity
• Execute against scope, schedule, and budget
• Ensure project is commissioned in accordance with Microsoft's standards
• Manage process for projects in Quebec region
• Support other Commissioning Projects in other Regions
• Create and maintain best practices
• Manage contracted Commissioning Agent
• Develop Commissioning Procedures and Standards
• Conduct construction site inspections
• Drive project Commissioning process
• Coordinate meetings with vendor project managers
• Manage client representatives and partners
• Attend owner/architect/contractor meetings
• Report project progress regularly
• Develop and manage Commissioning Process for CO+I Projects
• Manage data center commissioning project delivery strategy
• Refine practices/policies and develop methods/techniques
• Provide vendor oversight and performance management
• Prepare project approval tools & templates

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

Experience

3+ years technical engineering experience

Required Skills

• Data Center Commissioning
• Project Management
• Construction Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC)
• Develop and write detailed Commissioning Scripts
• Issue identification and resolution management
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Visio, Project, Teams
• Bilingual in English and French

Required Certifications

• Commissioning Certification (preferred)
• OSHA 30 or equivalent (preferred)
• NFPA-70E (preferred)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
