Technical Director

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Paris product development team in creating new styles
• Collaborate with design, sourcing and merchandising partners
• Drive product innovation and design improvements
• Provide technical guidance to EU development and repair centres
• Develop relationships with global suppliers and manufacturers
• Inform sourcing strategy and evaluate production capabilities
• Drive cost efficiencies and optimize supply chain processes
• Plan and participate in factory visits and audits
• Support Quality Director in creating product quality standards
• Reinforce quality control and testing requirements
• Stay updated on industry regulations and sustainability practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve quality issues
• Lead and mentor technical team in Paris
• Foster collaboration within product development teams
• Work with product operations team on timelines and schedules
• Partner with sustainability team on sustainable practices
• Maintain technical development and compliance documentation
• Provide reports to senior leadership
• Track and analyze product development KPIs

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Design, Fashion Technology, or related field

Experience

10+ years in technical apparel product development, sourcing, and quality assurance, with 5+ years in leadership
