Key Responsibilities
- Analyze methodologies and GHG inventory data collection for Energy, IPPU, Waste, Agriculture, and Forestry sectors
- Identify obstacles, gaps and needs in inventory enhancement
- Summarize methodological improvements using IPCC methodologies
- Collaborate on capacity building programme delivery
- Train national experts on inventory development requirements
- Develop Quality Assurance/Quality Control plans per sector
- Organize capacity-building workshop on QA/QC for GHG inventories
- Prepare comprehensive analysis reports
- Create roadmap for data collection process
- Develop QA/QC plans for national inventories
Requirements
Education
Master's degree or equivalent
Experience
10 years

- Climate change policy expertise
- GHG inventory management
- QA/QC expertise
- NDC mitigation actions knowledge
- UNFCCC and IPCC technical guidelines familiarity
- Analytical capacity
- Report writing
- Workshop facilitation
- MS Office proficiency
