Key Responsibilities

• Support maintenance and completion of data in BODEON specialist information system
• Assist in scientific assessment of archaeological measures
• Process archaeological measures, preferably as part of a university thesis

Requirements

Education

Completed university degree in archaeology (preferably archaeoinformatics, prehistory and early history, provincial Roman archaeology, medieval and/or modern archaeology - Bachelor's or FH diploma)

Required Skills

• Knowledge of archaeology in the Rhineland
• Proficient in MS Office and GIS applications
• Experience in excavations of different time periods and site types
• Experience in processing archaeological finds/features
• Willingness to learn complex subject areas
• Teamwork skills
• Attention to detail
