Key Responsibilities

Lead and quality assure staff and student activities while ensuring safe, orderly learning environments that directly impact educational outcomes
Strategically manage annual assessment and monitoring schedules in collaboration with senior leadership team to drive school performance
Collaborate with Principal and Vice Principal to supervise and evaluate teaching staff, ensuring educational excellence and professional standards
Drive recruitment excellence by screening and interviewing candidates across teaching and non-teaching positions to build high-performing teams
Implement comprehensive student achievement improvement initiatives aligned with school development plans and regulatory requirements
Lead progress testing programs including GL, TIMMS, PIRLS assessments and establish data-driven processes for student attainment reporting
Collaborate with senior leadership on innovative instructional methods and strategic program development
Oversee pastoral care, child safeguarding, and protection programs ensuring regulatory compliance and student wellbeing
Develop and implement staff continuous professional development plans that enhance teaching quality and operational efficiency

Requirements

Education

Bachelor Degree in Education or B.Sc degree with PGCE is essential. Desirable Master's degree.

Experience

At least 6 years' experience, including 4 consecutive years teaching performance exceeds standards and expectations as evidenced by performance appraisal. At least 2 years' experience in middle leadership role
