Key Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive financial statement audit and review engagements, ensuring compliance with Canadian Auditing Standards while managing client relationships and engagement timelines
Direct IT audit initiatives focusing on technology infrastructure, security frameworks, and emerging technologies, positioning the firm as a leader in modern assurance services

Requirements

Education

Undergraduate degree in business, accounting, and/or related financial education background

Experience

At least 3-5 years experience in accounting, bookkeeping, tax and audit in Canada with Manager or Senior Accountant experience in a Canadian CPA firm

Required Skills

Knowledge with Canadian Accounting Standards such as ASPE, Not for Profit etc. Knowledge/Experience in the use of Caseware and Caseview Knowledge/Experience of corporate and personal tax advisory and CRA audit Experience in preparing tax return - T1, T2 and T3 and tax preparation software (Profile/Taxprep) Experience with bookkeeping software (QuickBooks/Simply Accounting) Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/Access) Project management - Able to multitask and finish work in tight deadlines Good English writing skills Ability to work under pressure Willing and able to learn and work independently with minimal supervision

Certifications
