Key Responsibilities

Lead development and optimization of bioinformatics pipelines for metagenomic analysis
Analyze high-throughput sequencing data including WGS, RNA-seq, and 16S amplicon sequencing
Perform somatic variant analysis for lung cancer research
Develop and maintain computational workflows using industry-standard tools
Lead instructional classes and create educational materials

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or master's degree in genetics, genomics, bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, computational biology or related field

Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible experience
