Key Responsibilities

Drive advancement of enterprise data management capabilities and establish mature data governance discipline across investment operations
Lead comprehensive analysis of end-to-end data lifecycle from order entry through systems integration to final reporting delivery
Resolve critical data issues with external vendors and internal systems through advanced business and data analysis
Architect and implement new data solutions and requirements for business partners and stakeholders
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of operational processes, workflows, and metadata cataloguing for regulatory compliance
Perform validation of security pricing and valuation for public and private investments ensuring adherence to investment policies
Lead investment systems upgrades including data conversion, testing, and implementation across multiple platforms
Drive team, department, and enterprise-wide initiatives contributing to organizational strategic objectives
Develop expertise in critical investment applications including CRD, Calypso, and Eagle Pace systems
Build strategic relationships with key stakeholders including Investment Teams, Risk, and Performance departments

Requirements

Education

University degree in Mathematics, Commerce & Finance or equivalent experience

Experience

Minimum of 3 years' experience working in a Data Operations, back and/or middle office and/or in an investment and financial systems administration

Required Skills

Knowledge of data management principles and practices Knowledge of investment data domains, such as reference data, market data, risk analytics Knowledge of investment and risk analytics across asset classes Strong interpersonal and communications skills Highly analytical with strong problem-solving ability Experience with or willingness to learn ODBC report writers such as Crystal, Access Working knowledge of MS Office including excel spreadsheets with real time links and access databases Strong orientation towards strategy and changes Proactive and results oriented with good time management skills
