Key Responsibilities

Lead coordination of inter-ministerial and inter-institutional SLCP mitigation efforts
Develop technical inputs for national and subnational climate policies
Build capacity through training government departments on SLCP assessments
Create emission inventories and mitigation strategies
Manage project portfolio and proposal development
Coordinate with CCAC-funded projects and stakeholders
Organize awareness-raising events and create communication materials
Support NDC update process and policy implementation

Requirements

Education

Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in environmental science, economics, politics, international relations or similar discipline

Experience

4 years minimum professional experience in climate change, air pollution, sustainable development or environment and health

Required Skills

Technical assistance to governments Knowledge of national climate change and air pollution policies Stakeholder management Excellent communication skills LEAP tool experience (preferred) Advanced Excel skills Fluency in Spanish and English
