Key Responsibilities

Lead technical development of Brazil's National SLCP Plan working with SEI and government stakeholders
Develop and implement SLCP emission inventory and mitigation assessment frameworks
Design monitoring and verification systems for climate pollutant tracking
Facilitate high-level stakeholder engagement and policy implementation
Coordinate between international organizations and national government entities
Create subnational implementation frameworks and reporting mechanisms

Requirements

Education

Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Public Administration, Politics, International Relations, Engineering, Biology, Health or related field

Experience

7 years professional experience in Environmental Sciences, Climate Change, Air/Water/Soil Pollution, or Sustainable Development
