Key Responsibilities

Lead quality assurance audits of clinical documentation reviews
Evaluate accuracy and completeness of ICD-10-CM/PCS code assignments
Provide expert guidance on documentation improvement opportunities
Generate detailed audit reports and maintain quality metrics
Collaborate with coding leadership on organizational documentation strategies
Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulatory requirements
Drive documentation excellence through process improvement initiatives

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in clinical or healthcare field (RN, MBBS, RHIA)

Experience

Five (5) years of Clinical Documentation Integrity experience in acute care setting

Clinical documentation review expertise ICD-10-CM/PCS coding proficiency MS-DRG and APR-DRG classification knowledge Advanced computer skills including MS Office and EMR systems Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Exceptional attention to detail Time management and organizational skills Virtual collaboration capabilities Independent work ethic
