Key Responsibilities

Perform complex laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including molecular, microbiology, chemistry, hematology, and immunology
Evaluate, interpret and validate accuracy of laboratory procedures and results
Monitor quality control systems and measures
Collaborate in patient diagnosis and treatment
Provide education for laboratory and healthcare professionals
Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Coordinate laboratory competency assessments

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university

Experience

GS-7: None beyond basic requirements GS-9: 1 year at next lower grade or Masters degree GS-11: 1 year at next lower grade or PhD

Required Skills
