Key Responsibilities
Architect comprehensive data governance strategies, policies, and procedures that establish organizational data management foundation and drive enterprise-wide data maturity
Design and enforce enterprise data governance standards ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy throughout complete data lifecycle management
Develop robust data governance frameworks and guidelines including sophisticated data classification systems, ownership models, and stewardship programs
Lead implementation of data quality initiatives by establishing industry-standard quality metrics, conducting comprehensive data profiling, and defining automated quality rules and monitoring systems
Ensure regulatory compliance and data security by implementing advanced access controls, classification protocols, and comprehensive data protection measures aligned with industry standards
Engineer data management processes encompassing data identification, metadata management, data lineage tracking, and comprehensive data cataloging systems
Facilitate cross-organizational data sharing and collaboration by establishing data access protocols, usability standards, and formal data sharing agreements
Evaluate, select, and implement enterprise data governance technologies including Alation and Azure Purview to enhance data management capabilities and automate governance processes
Deliver strategic guidance and comprehensive training to business users and stakeholders on data governance best practices, policies, and operational procedures
Maintain industry leadership by staying current on data governance trends, regulatory requirements, and recommending strategic modifications to existing policies and practices

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field
