Key Responsibilities

Lead design and evolution of complex laser rangefinder systems from concept to production
Optimize optical-mechanical systems with focus on space utilization and thermal-mechanical performance
Manage product family change requests and technical documentation
Define materials and manufacturing processes based on structural requirements
Design and coordinate electrical interface models including EMC compliance
Conduct tolerance analysis and performance verification
Perform engineering calculations for structural integrity and lifecycle analysis
Maintain design documentation in SAP
Define and execute testing protocols
Support prototype development and production transition

Requirements

Education

Master's degree in precision engineering, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or similar

Experience

Several years of experience in design, ideally in precision mechanical components
