Key Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive document control operations across program-wide administrative, engineering, and operational activities, ensuring seamless information flow and regulatory compliance for multi-million dollar infrastructure projects
Drive digital transformation initiatives through expert management of Electronic Document Management Systems, particularly Aconex platform, optimizing project efficiency and stakeholder collaboration
Maintain critical project documentation including technical specifications, IFC drawings, shop drawings, and vendor documents, serving as the central hub for all project-critical information management
Execute strategic document distribution and tracking processes using approved transmittal formats, ensuring timely delivery of critical information to clients, consultants, and project teams
Orchestrate cross-functional coordination between Head Office and vendors to maintain current documentation versions and ensure project teams have access to the most up-to-date technical information
Support project milestone achievements through meticulous preparation of as-built documentation and compliance with approved closeout procedures, directly impacting project delivery success
Generate comprehensive reporting systems including daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports that inform executive decision-making and support multi-million dollar milestone payment submissions
Maintain master document registers and tracking systems that serve as the foundation for project progress monitoring and regulatory compliance across large-scale infrastructure developments

Requirements

Education

Degree preferred but not essential; relevant certifications in document control are an advantage

Experience

Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a construction supervision or engineering design consultancy
