Key Responsibilities

Lead comprehensive transformation of enterprise-wide Learning & Operational Excellence functions spanning Learning Systems, Employee Development, Client Education, and Operational Excellence to drive organizational performance and competitive advantage
Architect and execute strategic Learning and Operational Excellence vision aligned with Velera's organizational transformation, partnering with executive leadership to establish learning frameworks that support business growth and employee development
Champion institutionalization of process innovation and operational excellence methodologies across all business divisions, product development cycles, and supply chain operations to establish sustainable competitive advantages
Direct strategic development and implementation of advanced BPM, RPA, and Intelligent Automation platforms to revolutionize workflow automation and operational efficiency across the enterprise
Establish and monitor critical KPIs in partnership with senior business unit leadership to measure operational excellence impact and drive data-driven decision making for continuous improvement
Oversee evolution of Velera's Learning Organization strategy through development of comprehensive learning ecosystems that leverage cutting-edge technology and human capital optimization
Design and implement scalable learning interventions based on organizational needs assessment, incorporating adult learning principles and adaptive learning methodologies to support business strategy execution
Direct comprehensive needs assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of professional development programs serving both internal employees and external credit union clients
Ensure strategic alignment of learning delivery and resource allocation with business plans, integrating adaptive learning principles with measurable business outcomes and performance improvement
Drive continuous improvement of learning and development investments through rigorous measurement and evaluation of training effectiveness and learner experience optimization
Establish scalable external training delivery business models aligned with Velera's client service framework to meet evolving financial institution client needs
Partner with Product and IT leadership on technology-based learning strategies that enhance learner experience, accelerate skill development, and improve time-to-proficiency metrics
Manage complex matrixed relationships between Client Learning, Client Product Delivery, and Client Service Delivery to optimize service delivery for owner credit unions
Oversee annual budget management for business unit operations while ensuring legal, ethical, and regulatory compliance across all learning and operational excellence initiatives
Provide strategic leadership, coaching, and mentorship to staff while managing comprehensive HR responsibilities including hiring, performance management, compensation, and career development

Requirements

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, General Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning, Psychology, or related field required. Masters or Doctoral Degree in a related discipline strongly preferred.

Experience

Fifteen 15+ years of demonstrated success in leading learning and development, and/or business process management required. Seven 7+ years of experience in a senior leadership role.
